Walkthrough: creating a Windows Live Messenger ID

A Windows Live Messenger (aka MSN Messenger) ID gives you access to one of the most popular instant messaging programs and access to Hotmail.

If you have a Hotmail account, you can connect to Windows Live Messenger from your Hotmail email and password, otherwise, you can use your normal E-mail access still. After you create an ID, can you instant messaging and start video and voice chat with friends. Difficulty: easy

    Open your Web browser and navigate to the MSN home page.

    Click "Messenger" at the top of the page.

    Click the button "Download" on the page to the download and install Windows Live Messenger.

    Open Windows Live Messenger.

    Click "Sign Up."

  • 6

    Fill the form your create.

  • Type an e-Mail address (this will email you with connect Windows Live Messenger) or click the link in the presence of a Hotmail account to create. Create a password, type your first and last name, enter your State, zip code, birth year and gender equality. Enter the code.

    On "I agree" to fill the form and create your new Windows Live Messenger ID.
