Removing Yahoo Messenger system information

Yahoo Messenger is an instant messaging program, that helps people with family, friends, stay connected in real time colleagues and contacts.

The app is free for download from Yahoo. Can there be times when the program does not work properly. Problems that can occur include and is limited to not send or receive messages, to upgrade to a newer version or to connect but also damaged or corrupted files and unexpected system failure. Uninstall to remove Yahoo Messenger and permanently remove the program from your computer. Difficulty: easy

    Contact from Yahoo Instant Messenger and close the application.

    In the system tray "Start" and select "Control in the field" on the right side of the menu.

    Double click on "Add or remove programs" (Windows XP) or "uninstall of a program", located in the programs (Windows Vista/2007).

    Browse the list of programs, and then select "Yahoo! Messenger".

    Click "Edit/Remove (Windows XP).

  • Click "Yahoo! Messenger" and select "uninstall / change" (Windows Vista/2007).

    Click "OK (continued)" If you will be prompted to uninstall continues.

  • Click on "Finish" to complete the uninstallation process.

    Restart the computer.

  • Uninstall may automatically restart the computer.

    Go to "C: Files\Yahoo."

  • Backup all stored archives anddelete Yahoo folder.

    Click "Start" and then type "Regedit" and click "run" (Windows XP) or click on "Start" and then enter "Regedit" in the field "Start Search" and click "Enter" (Windows Vista/2007), to start the registry editor.

    Navigate to

  • "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\" and delete "Yahoo." Close the Registry Editor window.
