How: removing Visual Studio 6 ActiveX control

Visual Studio 6 is a pack of programming for ActiveX controls.

These controls are basic frameworks that help programmers something either to create a single image on a completely new software titles. However, if you need ActiveX control is no longer using Visual Studio 6 it is possible to remove programming with a few mouse clicks. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

    Click on "Start", "Control Panel" and choose "Programs" or "Add or remove programs", depending on which version of the operating system is running).

Currently, a window on the screen with all programs on your computer is installed.

    Click on "Visual Studio 6" (probably listed at the bottom of the window shown installed title in alphabetical order).

    Select "remove".

  • A command prompt window opens, asking if you are sure you want to remove the program. Select "Yes" and the uninstall wizard will appear on the screen.

    Follow the instructions in the wizard to uninstall, and then select the related files on the computer installed ActiveX allow.
