How: Windows Live Messenger in Vista disable

Windows Live Messenger is a communication tool that is installed by default on Windows Vista operating systems.

It starts automatically at system startup and enables you to use other users for instant text chat. If you use the application, you can disable and prevent that your launch at startup. This preserves the memory and you'll be allowing even activate the program if you want to use. Difficulty: easy

    Click Start, and click "Start Search" to the field

Type "services.msc" (without quotes) and press "Enter" to start services console.

    Browse the Windows Messenger through the Services console and right click on.

  • Click "Properties" from the context menu.

    Select the check box next to the "service status" to include "Stop" to the application.

  • Select "Disabled" in the start box, and then click "Apply" to save the changes. Click "OK". Windows Live Messenger is now disabled.
