   Press the Windows key on the keyboard.

Click on "Computer" or "My computer", depending on the operating system.

Locate the following folder path:



C (or a letter of your hard disk) > programs > Windows Live > contacts

Locate the file "wldlog.dll".

Right-click the file and click "Rename".

Name the file "wldlog. dll_resp".

Press "enter". Quit Windows Explorer.

Restart your system.

Try to open Windows Live Messenger.
