Windows Live Messenger open

Windows Live Messenger is an Instant Messenger that is part of Windows Live Essentials.

    Press the Windows key on the keyboard.

    Click on "Computer" or "My computer", depending on the operating system.

    Locate the following folder path:



    C (or a letter of your hard disk) > programs > Windows Live > contacts

  • 4

    Locate the file "wldlog.dll".

  • Right-click the file and click "Rename".
  • 5

    Name the file "wldlog. dll_resp".

  • Press "enter". Quit Windows Explorer.
  • 6

    Restart your system.

  • Try to open Windows Live Messenger.
