How: change the timeout on Yahoo Messenger

After a period of inactivity (default 15 minutes), Yahoo! Messenger changes your "online" status to "Off" or "Away".

This reports you simply allows your contacts know you may not be available. You can change the time period of inactivity, either completely disable either by adjusting the amount of time before you to the switch "Off" mode difficulty: moderately easy

    Connect Yahoo! Messenger.

Select the Panel of the top menu "Messenger."

    Select "Privacy options" from the list.

  • Search the field "idle status" marked.

    Clear the check box if you want to disable the timeout.

  • Easy to customize, click the "Up" or "Down" arrows next to the idle time. You can use a time timeout "1" to "999" (minutes).

    Click "Apply", then click "OK".
