How to enable ActiveX control in your browser.

"Controls ActiveX, according to Microsoft," are small programs that sometimes also referred to as "Modules" that are used on the Internet.

As exclusively the ActiveX control for Internet Explorer, users of the personal computer (PC) with this browser find ActiveX is required to access most Web sites. According to Microsoft, one of the advantages of using ActiveX controls, "improve your navigation experience that you can by animation or you, can help with tasks such as installing security updates on Microsoft Update".     Open Internet Explorer, click "Tools" and select "Internet Options"

The "Internet Options" dialog box opens.

    Click the "Security" tab, select "Internet" as the range you want to edit, and then click the "Custom" button.

  • Settings opens the Security dialog box.

    Enable the ActiveX control by scrolling down to the section "Internet ActiveX controls and plug-in the", select "Enable" in the sections "Script controls for the ActiveX script marks" and "run ActiveX controls and plug-in the" and then click "OK".

  • Be sure to close the Internet Options dialog box. You enable the ActiveX control.
