How hide sites on the history of the Internet

Many people choose for purposes of security and confidentiality, to delete or hide some sites in the history of your Web browser.

Methods do, however, from browser to browser different. Read on for instructions on how to delete you specific sites in the history of the three major browsers: Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla Firefox and Google chrome. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

Instructions

    Internet Explorer 8

    Click on "Start" on your computer desktop.

    Select "Run" and type regedit.exe.

  • This is the Publisher of the registry of the computer.

    List of the keys in the Registry Editor window.

  • This looks like a list of files. Search the named HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs key and click on it.

    Delete the URL displays list of visited Web sites.

  • Mozilla Firefox

    Open a new browser window in Firefox.

    Press the CTRL + H buttons your browser history.

    Select the sites you want to delete and click on shift + del.

  • Google chrome

    Click on "Tools", then "History".

  • (For Mac users, click on "History" in the menu bar appear.)

    Find the phrase "Edit items" on the left side of the page.

    Select the addresses you want to delete and click on "S".
