You need: computer with Internet access Yahoo Messenger things

Instant message

Double-click an individual online in your contact list, a message window open.

Click "Actions", "Send instant message", "Other coordinates", and type the user ID of the person you want to send the message.

Type your message in the text at the bottom of the message window.

Press "Enter" or click on "Send" to send the message to the person.

Chat room

Connect to Yahoo Messenger.

Click "Messenger" at the top of the window.

Hover over "Yahoo Chat" and select "Connect with room."

Select a category of chat room.

Yahoo has a long list of categories including business, entertainment, sports and romance, choose among others.

Select the room you want to join after you have selected a category, and then click

"Join Room"

Use the bottom Te

xtfeld and type of your message hit "Enter" to send. Everyone in the chat room is the message.
