How to add a browser ActiveX to install manually

ActiveX is a tool that allows Web developers to run scripts on a Web site for broadcast audio clips, video files or other types of media.

ActiveX is installed automatically with any version of Internet Explorer, but must configure yet security settings and then load the specific ActiveX controls from any Web site you visit. Mozilla Firefox automatically loads not ActiveX controls however, need to install an add-on of the third display information of the ActiveX. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

Instructions

    Internet Explorer

    Click the "Tools" option at the top right in the browser window.

Select "Internet Options".

    Navigate to the tab "Security", click the "Security level" slider and change "Medium High" or "Medium."

    Click "Apply", then click "OK".

  • Navigate to a site that uses an ActiveX control.
  • 4

    Wait until the ActiveX control bar at the top of the window.

  • Click the control, and choose "install ActiveX".

    Click "Help" and select "about Mozilla Firefox."

  • Note the version of Firefox you use.

    Navigate to a Web page that has an ActiveX plug-in for download (see resources).

  • You can click the link for downloading ActiveX plug-in matches the version of Firefox.

    Click the tab control is displayed at the top of the browser.

  • "i > choose"A"." "leave", then click on "install now".

    Click on the option "Tools" and click on "Add-ons".

  • Navigate to the "Extensions" tab, click the add-on with the name "Firefox Mozilla ActiveX plugin."

    Click "Enable" at the bottom of the window.

  • Navigate to a Web site that uses ActiveX control. Click the bar at the top of the window control, and then select "Download".
