How: Remove Windows Live Messenger on my home page

The Web browser home page the first page is loaded when you start your browser window.

When you install certain applications such as MSN Live Messenger, your homepage settings can be overridden and defines the application start page in your default browser. Home setting can easily adapted, navigate in the Internet Options Control Panel. With a few clicks can eliminate unwanted parameters and have the support of your personal home page if you launch your browser. Difficulty: easy

Instructions

    Internet Explorer

    Start your Internet Explorer browser.

Click the "Tools" menu located in the top menu bar your Internet Explorer window.

    Navigate your browser to the Web page that you use to replace the Windows Live Messenger website as your homepage.

    Click on the "Internet Options" list on the "Tools" menu.

  • Your Internet Internet Options dialog box and Internet Explorer settings settings to configure.

    Click on the tab "General" in the "Internet Options" window.

  • Click the "use current" under the "Home page" in the "Internet Options" dialog box. Click on "OK" to save the changes. Click "Home" button to ensure that the settings have been saved.

  • Navigate to the page that you use to replace MSN Live Messenger as your home page.
  • Click on the

    Icon left of the address in the input address bar. Drag the icon for the Web page "Home" button on your toolbar. The "Home" button is the small home icon in your toolbar.

    Remove the icon in the Web page click "Home", by letting go of the mouse while the cursor rest

  • on the "home"-icon click on "home" to verify that your new home page was saved correctly.
