   Download the latest version of Windows Live Messenger Installer (see resources).

Perform an update of Windows.

In the "Start menu" search bar, type on Vista and Windows 7, where to find "Windows Update" option under the "configuration panel" in all versions of Windows.

Delete the directory "C:\Program live" - "Messenger" - folder.

Remove "Windows Live Installer" and "WLInstaller" directory "C\: APPDATA" files.
