   Press the "Windows" and "R" button dialog box to start to a run.

Type in the dialog box "appwiz.cpl" and press "Enter."

Click "Change or remove programs" and select "Windows Live Essentials" from the list of installed software.

Click "Change/Remove".

Click "Uninstall" from the list of options, and then click "next".

Check the "Messenger" from the list of Windows Live programs.

Click on "continue".

Windows Live Essentials uninstaller removes Windows Live Messenger Beta on your computer. Once the process is complete, click "Close".
