Yahoo! Messenger started in 1999 and has crossed many changes over the years. Older versions of Yahoo! Messenger were with instant messaging to chat while the newer versions contain the voice and video chat capabilities. However, if you yearn for the nostalgia of Yahoo! Messenger 6.0, you can install it on a PC running Windows 98 to Windows XP. Difficulty: easy

Things you need: PC running Windows 98 to Windows XP

   Uninstall the other versions of Yahoo! Messenger that are installed on your computer.

The "Panel" from the start menu and click "Add/Remove Programs". Select Yahoo! Messenger and click "Uninstall".

Download Yahoo! Messenger 6.0 (see resources).

Click on "run".

Click "Next" and accept the terms of the Yahoo! Messenger 6.0 by clicking "Yes".

Click "Install" and "End".
