Walkthrough: installing the control ActiveX for Windows Vista

ActiveX is a software component from Microsoft that allows mini special programs into designers Web sites.

These small programs are accessed with a browser such as Internet Explorer and you allow PC users access the custom application installers. Installed without Active X computer will use all features with Windows users, who are on the Internet. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

Instructions

Things you need: PC with Windows Vista

    Open Internet Explorer and go to download ActiveX control page (see resources below).

    Click the button "Download" at the top of the window.

    Run ActiveX Installer once it has been successfully downloaded on your hard disk.

    Click the button "Next" and accept the terms and conditions.

  • 5

    Select where the Active X control, and then click "Next" once more install.

  • 6

    Click the button "Finish" to exit the Setup program after the process is complete.

  • "All programs" from the start menu now be added to the list of Active X control.
