How: remove Microsoft ActiveX controls

Microsoft ActiveX is smoothly and properly loaded for different types of Web pages a downloadable application that helps other programs relating to the Internet.

However, may you have another program that disrupts with ActiveX or might be corrupted ActiveX. If this is done, this is how I uninstall Microsoft ActiveX controls. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

Instructions

   Click on "Start" on the desktop and select "Options" from the menu.

Control Panel window list options "Control Panel", click "Add or remove programs".

A window loads and displays installed all programs on your computer.

Scroll through the programs to find "ActiveX"

Programs are listed in alphabetical order.

Click "Delete" and ActiveX is uninstalled.

Close Control Panel and click "Start" again.

Select "Run" and the small search box is loaded, enter (without the quotation marks): "regsvr32 drive:\windows\occache\filename.ocx u".

Select the file and click "remove".

Now delete the file from the registry.
