How: reinstall Active X

Active X controls are used, to additional programs running in your Web browser.

To run Windows Media Player in a Firefox browser, you must install for example the Active X for Windows Media Player control. To use and some of the features on a Web site correctly, an ActiveX control can install you asked. You should be careful, however, that some ActiveX controls are actually viruses. You can install ActiveX controls in just a few minutes. Difficulty: easy

Instructions

   Open a browser window.

Visit the website that you want to use the ActiveX control.

Click on the yellow information bar will appear at the top of the browser window.

This prompts you to install the ActiveX control.

View information about the ActiveX control.

You can display the control object and determine whether the control is signed.

Click on "Install Active X control" and wait for install the ActiveX control.

Close and open your browser after installation if necessary.
