How: send an invitation for Windows Live Messenger

Type your user name and password for the connection.

Click the person at the top of the screen with a superimposed over green shield icon.

To confirm that you have the correct icon by moving the mouse pointer. A pop - up box saying: "Add A contact or a group" appear.

Click on "Add contact".

Type the e-Mail address of the person you want to invite"window to the Instant Messaging address"

A new window titled "Send an invitation to [address]" appears.

Type a message in the box "Include your personal message."

This ensures that your friend is an invitation to you and not produced by a spammer white.
