How: running ActiveX controls

ActiveX controls are small programs that install and run remote on your computer, a Web site in General can provide the site with some interactive functionality.

These programs run by default runs on an exclusive ActiveX Microsoft framework and generally is on Windows systems, but a profile can be of various security in Internet Explorer (IE) controls prevents were used during execution. To resolve this issue, change the Internet Explorer security settings. Difficulty: easy

    Open Internet Explorer.

Click "Tools" and select "Internet Options"

    The "Security" tab, select "Internet" and "Custom level".

    "" Scroll to "run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" and "Marked the control script ActiveX safe for scripting" and make sure that the value "enabled".

  • Double click on "OK" and restart Internet Explorer.

    Navigate to a site that uses an ActiveX control.

  • When you prompted to control over a yellow box at the top of the browser window, accept the installation. The control will automatically install and run.
